What We Do!

3D Printed Miniatures for all your adventuring and Doll House Needs!

Who am I?

My Name is Chris and since the beginning of lockdown, I have been fascinated with 3D printers. My first few projects were based on Warhammer and Dungeon's and Dragons. Since then, I have printed a vast array of different things from Miniatures, Buildings, Monsters and even Furniture.

What is Mini-Halla!

Taking the two things in life I really enjoy and merging them together seemed like a good name for this venture; Miniatures and Vikings. I search around for Commerical Licenses with companies/desginers of 3D Miniatures and other varies creations I can print and sell. The ones I have chosen are not only something I enjoy, but that others are asking me to print. It made sense to start a venture to look at this with D&D, Warhammer and even having your own Doll House becoming so popular.

There is also a few Services available that allow you to create characters and other models for these games. I am pleased to announce that I can print anything from http://www.HeroForge.com and http://www.TitanCraft.com

The Printers!

At this moment in time I own 2 SLA (Resin) and 6 FDM (Plastic) printers. The Resin based printers give the smallest of details, quick producing and very efficient at creating the products we can offer. The PLA, or plastic, printers have great levels of details and can build full scale buildings and miniatures.

The SLA printers I use is the AnyCubic M3 4k and the Phrozen Sonic Mighty 4k. The Resin will vary in colour as the stock types will change from time to time. They can print great detail in any colour and even translucent. The prints are then cleaned using the AnyCubic Wash and Cure station Plus.

The FDM Printers are AnyCubic C, Creality Ender Pro 3, Creality Ender 3 v2 and 3x Wanhao i3 Duplicators. Colouring does again depend on what stock levels are available, but can print in some amazing effects.

Aftercare!

Once the prints are complete, they will go through an Aftercare to make sure they are in the best condition they can be for the customers.

The FDM printers don't need a great deal of aftercare but I will always make sure they are at the highest standards. This can be from imperfections, bed leveling issues or even cracks and other breaks.

The SLA printers need a bit more work. From the printer, they are washed in 99.9% Isopropyl alcohol. After that, a hot bath is run for them to clear the alcohol off and this helps remove supports and any additional imperfections left from the resin vat. Cleaned with a toothbrush and towel dried, then onto the curing station. 20+ minutes of pure UV to set the models ready to paint.

As I've mentioned in the home page. Each item is given an option to have an undercoat of primer. Some prints on the resin will be for the whole model if it is standard resin by an option is still available on the transparent resin of you require.
